Guidelines for Planning and Design

The definitive manual for designing useful cycle facilities, endorsed by the Department of Transport, the Institution of Highways and Transportation, the Bicycle Association and the CTC.

This document is old, but is still very relevant and useful. It has many detailed design considerations, such as usable path widths, cycle parking stand spacings, and so on.
