Campaigning
-
-
LCAG is a group of cycling enthusiasts, who are campaigning to increase the number of safe routes within the Town, and around the area. We’ve noticed that some cycle lanes end in some very unlikely places, and there are other places where none exist!
Problem Reporting
-
The CTC‘s national pothole (and other road hazard) reporting site.
-
A website for reporting inconsiderate, anti-social or bad driving. If a particular vehicle does something very dangerous, or is reported several times by different people, the police will take action.
Cycling
-
The club mainly caters for medium-to-long-distance touring cyclists, but some shorter rides and off-road rides are organised. The club always has requests for people to lead shorter, slower rides, so if you’d like to help out by leading a ride or two they’d be very happy for you to do so. The club is part of the national Cyclists’ Touring Club, so there is plenty of support available, and you are covered by insurance when leading a ride.
